   Happy Diwali   

Ingredients:
  • Pomegranates - 2 Nos, medium sized
  • Orange - 1 Nos
  • Cold water - ½ cup
  • Sugar to taste
Instructions:
  1. Peel orange and remove the seeds.
  2. Add the pomegranate seeds in a mixer jar along with orange slices, sugar and water.
  3. Blend till the seeds are out of the pulpy coat and are completely ground.
  4. Pour the pomegranate mash into the strainer and use a spatula to gently stir the mash until no more juice is separating out.
  5. Serve chilled.

Notes:

  • How to take seed from pomegranate?
    • Cut the pomegranate into half.
    • Working over a bowl, take a sturdy spoon/ladle and hit the back of the pomegranate half several times. The seeds will fall out into the bowl.
    • You might get most of the seeds out this way, the rest you can always pick out with your hand.
