   Happy Diwali   

Ingredients:
  • Pomfret - one large sized or 2 medium sized( approx: 500-600 Gms)
  • Oil for frying

For Marination:

  • Ginger - ½ inch piece
  • Garlic - 3-4 cloves
  • Shallots - 2 Nos
  • Curry Leaves - 4-5 leaves
  • Chilly Powder - 1 ½ Tablespoon
  • Turmeric Powder - ¾ Teaspoon
  • Pepper Powder - ½ Teaspoon
  • Garam masala powder - 1 small pinch
  • Coconut oil - 1 Tablespoon
  • Salt to taste
Instructions:
  1. Clean and make some slits on both sides of the fish; Wash and drain completely.
  2. Put all ingredients for 'marination' in the small jar of a food processor/blender and make a fine paste.
  3. Marinate the fish using the prepared paste and refrigerate for at-least 30 minutes(2 Hrs for best results).
  4. Heat oil in a frying pan. Fry fish on both sides in low/medium heat. Carefully flip to both sides without breaking the fish.
  5. Serve hot.
